Gentest® Hepatocytes and CD34+ HSCs Co-Culture Cytotoxicity Assay Services

A novel in vitro assay that incorporates hepatic metabolism into hematopoietic toxicity evaluation, addressing a critical gap that standard cytotoxicity assay platforms overlook.

An Innovative Co-Culture Cytotoxicity Assay

By co-culturing Gentest® Cryopreserved Primary Hepatocytes with bone marrow-derived CD34+ cells exposed to xenobiotic compounds, we can accurately evaluate metabolism-dependent toxicity by measuring the clonogenic potential of CD34+ cells in a Colony Forming Cell (CFC) assay. Colony enumeration is executed by experienced cell biologists to ensure accurate and reliable results.
