Our services are designed to support every stage of development—from early discovery and preclinical studies to regulated clinical trial testing. Discovery integrates genomics, proteomics, molecular pathology, cell biology, clinical flow cytometry, and peri/post-approval services to provide a seamless workflow, ensuring consistent sample management, data quality, and regulatory readiness throughout the lifecycle.

Discovery operates CLIA-certified, CAP-accredited, and GCLP-compliant laboratories, with additional ISO certifications where applicable. All workflows are SOP-driven, and data integrity is maintained through validated LIMS systems and 21 CFR Part 11–compliant processes.

We work with a wide range of biospecimens, including whole blood, leukopaks, serum, plasma, FFPE tissue, fresh frozen tissue, and cell pellets. Our teams provide guidance on minimum volumes, stability, and shipping requirements to ensure optimal results across all platforms.

Deliverables vary by service area but commonly include raw and processed data files (FASTQ, VCF, FCS), normalized data matrices, annotated reports, digital slide images, and statistical summaries. Data is transferred securely and accompanied by a Certificate of Analysis (CoA) where applicable.

Yes. Discovery offers both research use only (RUO) services for exploratory projects and regulated workflows (GLP, GCLP, CLIA/CAP) for clinical trials. Our teams can also transfer and validate methods from external labs to support bridging studies.

Turnaround time varies by assay type and study scope. As benchmarks, genomics sequencing projects are often completed in 2–4 weeks, while targeted proteomics or pathology assays may be delivered in 5–10 business days. Discovery provides project-specific TAT estimates at study initiation.
